Gentle Embrace Hydration Shampoo

Instructions - Thoroughly wet your hair with warm water. Apply a quarter size amount to hands and rub together. Apply to the hair and genlty
massauge the scalp being careful to not tangle the hair. Consider shampooing your hair in the same direction that you intend to style your hair
to further reduce tangles. Rinse and repeat as necessary.

 

Deep Indulgence Replenishing Conditioner

This is a very luscious and thick conditioner. It can be used as a quick or deep conditioner. After washing with the Gentle Embrace Hydration Shampoo, apply to soaking wet hair in sections. Apply a quarter size amount to wet hands, and rub together to soften and warm product, then apply from root to tip. For best results allow to sit for 5 minutes, then detangle with conditioner in hair combing with wide tooth comb from ends to root.

 

Kindred Spirits Moisture & Style Cream

For maximum moisture apply the Kindred Spirits Moisture & Style Cream to wet or damp hair from root to tip. You want to be sure
to apply the product in small sections, carefully working it through your hair with your fingers to ensure the product is evenly distributed.
If you want the moisture but also prefer to elongate your curls, apply the product on wet hair, allow it to air dry then come back and style.
Allow hair to thoroughly dry before final finishing to ensure maximum definition is achieved. Be sure to use the Seal with a Kiss Finishing Oil
when taking down your hair to further reduce frizz.

For added moisture, use the tip to apply the oil directly to the scalp on wet or damp hair before applying your styler. Massage the Seal with a Kiss Finishing Oil on the scalp and rub down through the hair. Style as desired.
For added shine and frizz reduction to your final style, apply a nickel size amount to your hands, rub them together and scrunch into your hair as if you were squeezing a sponge.

The oil is also great to have on your finger tips as you separate twists, braids, and other
sets.
If you're struggling with thinning or breakage around your edges, apply a nickel size amount morning and night to help stimulate growth and
retention.

1. Is it sulfate free?
Yes it and it is completed plant based.
2. Will it strip my hair?
No! It's a moisturizing shampoo. Most customers say their hair feels conditioned after washing and can even detangle while shampooing!
3. Do I need a pre-poo?
It's not necessary, however if you want an extra layer of protection use a diluted amount of the Deep indulgence Replenishing Conditioner.
4. I only co-wash, why should I try this shampoo?
Hydration starts with your shampoo, and should be considered phase 1 of your moisture process. When you shampoo your cuticles are the most opened. During this phase, the Gentle Embrace Hydration Shampoo infused with our proprietary Hydralure Technology will infuse hydration into the hair under the cuticles. It properly preps your hair to receive the additional nutrients and hydration in the Deep
Indulgence Replenishing Conditioner.

1. Can I use this as a leave-in?

Yes, however it's best if you add it to a water bottle with 1/4 conditioner, to 3/4 water. Shake it up then spray on.

2. Can I detangle with this conditioner?

Yes, in fact we suggest that you do, your curls will be more elastic and thus less likely to break and shed.

3. Can I use this with the shampoo I have now?

Yes you can use it with any shampoo, however it is formulated to deliver the best results when used with the Moisture Love Gentle Embrace Hydration Shampoo. If you want to obtain maximum moisture retention, try them as a pair!

1. Will this leave my hair white?
When you first apply the cream, you'll notice the product on your hair, as it dries the color of the cream will dissipate.
2. Will it make my hair flake?
No if used as directed with the Moisture Love line, it will not cause flakes.
3. Can I apply it wet or dry?
Yes you can, however our proprietary Hydralure TechnologyTM infuses hydration into the hair on a cellular level by binding the water in the products with the water in the hair. Therefore maximum moisture retention, it's best to apply on damp or wet hair.
4. Can it be combined with gel?
Yes it can, however you should test it with your gel of choice in a small section of your hair to ensure that they are compatible.
5. Will it leave a greasy residue?
No it will not, the Kindred Spirits Moisture & Style Cream is designed to infuse the moisture into the hair below the cuticle layer.
You'll feel the moisture without the greasy look and feel.

1. When should I apply the oil?
This products works great with the LOC method which is applying the liquid then oil then cream. In Moisture Love's case, while your hair is wet, apply the oil to your strands and/or scalp, work through the hair, then apply the Kindred Spirits Moisture & Style Cream to style. If you have fine hair, you may want to only had a very small amount to your hair after it's dry during final styling for shine.
2. Can I use it on my scalp?
Yes, we added the tip nozzle to the bottle to make it easy to part through your hair, braids, and/or weave and ensure the oil is applied directly to the scalp. It works great to relieve tension on the hair around edges and moisturize the scalp.
3. What does it smell like?
It has the same Vanilla fragrance as the other Moisture Love products. Please keep in mind that it is still an oil that has been infused in marshmallow leaf and horsetail therefore it can have a slight herbal fragrance,although most people hardly notice it.
4. I don't typically use oil, how can this help my moisture routine?
If you would like to extend your style, desire your hair to feel more moisturized and supple before having to restyle, and/or desire more shine, then the Seal with a Kiss finishing oil can help you with all of those things. See the instructions tab for different applications.
